Heres my 2 cents worth. I removed insulfluff and reinstalled woolen batts from Dannevirke and after 5 years I can report they are well worth it. They worked out to be around $1-2 more expensive per meter, but I could install them myself with no protective clothing. My roof is long run iron,so has the odd leak with heavy down pours. The woolen soaks up the water, then allows it to evaporate without ceiling damage. On the other hand the insulfluff would stay damp, but due to it being paper fibres it needed a fire retardant, which just happen to be carcinogenic. Any carcinogens in my house are not cool, hence Pink Batts weren't considered either. The warmth is just great in a old 1920's bungalow,I total recommend them. The wool is from recycled wool carpets. I will install them in a second house as well.I did over insulate on the thickness, but I would have done this if I had installed Pink Batts too. Good Luck.
